A common misconception about calligraphy is that it is too expensive.   My prices are 60% less then most competitor pricing because I do this as a hobby, this isn't my primary job that I have to survive by so I don't have to charge as much. I only charge $1.60 for Straight or Italic style and $2.00 for Fancy Italic and my prices always include the inner envelope. (Instead of $4 & $5 per envelope with competitor prices,)  There is a small additional charge if you want me to do the return address.
