A common misconception about calligraphy is that it is too expensive or unaffordable. In most cases I would have to agree but because this is my 2nd job, I don't have to charge outrageous prices for my calligraphy. My rates are about 60-70% less then most other quotes you would receive out there.

For example, a simple quote for 150 envelopes would run you about $600 at $4 per envelope from most other calligraphers out there! My quote would be $225 Straight or Italic calligraphy, at $1.50 per envelope, and that always includes the inner envelope. The most expensive calligraphy style is Fancy Italic at $2 per envelope, that would cost you $300.

I am also able to do a wedding the size of 150 in just a couple of days (instead of 10-15 days). Because of my affordable rates, I am able to service brides nationwide, using UPS Track with delivery confirmation. Fed-Ex is used for rush jobs.

I've been doing calligraphy and working with agencies, brides and consultants for over 20 years.

In my early years I worked exclusively with Robert and Georgette Mosbacher when they resided in Houston, Texas, just before his appointment to Vice President Bush Sr's cabinet as Secretary of Commerce. One dinner was featured in "Houston Home and Garden" magazine (see pictures in the "Services" link).

I hand lettered over 100 menu cards for Vice President Bush Sr's dinner and also handled the menu cards for the King and Queen of Spain which was published in "Hola" magazine (see pictures in the "Services" link).
